The Barn is the latest addition to Brickhouse Vineyard, offering capacity for up to 60 guests for your ceremony and wedding breakfast, followed by 100 guests for your evening party. We’re proud to have breathed new life into our historic barn, embracing its past and interlacing it with contemporary touches and modern facilities. Traditional features, including the open vaulted roof and exposed beams, have been fused with modern architectural delights. The result is a rustic-luxe barn wedding venue in the Devon countryside, boasting views to the sea, surrounding fields and beyond.
Our Barn brings couples the perfect space for a relaxed yet stylish celebration, where your nuptials will seamlessly flow from room to room. Your ceremony will be hosted in the Round House, where you can walk down our wildflower meadow aisle. Post-vows, enjoy drinks and canapés on the terrace as you soak up the never-ending views. Your wedding breakfast and party in the Barn, where you can style and decorate this blank canvas space as you wish. The Round House remains available to you and your guests throughout the evening for those who want to relax with a coffee after too much dancing!
As with all our packages, you will have exclusivity of the venue and its grounds, so that you can really make the most of everything that Brickhouse Vineyard has to offer.
A barn wedding at Brickhouse Vineyard
Relax and step away from the everyday
Our barn wedding package has been designed to include our support throughout your wedding planning journey and a private planning meeting to tie up any loose ends. The package also includes full wheelchair access and facilities, parking for up to 20 cars, ceremony room set-up, use of tables and chairs for your ceremony and meal, use of glassware for drinks reception and meal, and use of our in-house Bluetooth sound system.
Our Brickhouse Vineyard Wines can also be served during your wedding breakfast for an extra special touch. Ahead of your barn wedding, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting at your final planning meeting when purchasing bottles for the big day. You’ll also have a staffed and fully licensed bar, along with our support throughout the wedding planning process and a dedicated wedding coordinator on the day itself to ensure your celebration unfolds seamlessly. As with all our packages, you will have access to our handpicked selection of recommended wedding suppliers.
How it Works
Our Barn Weddings
You can get yourself better acquainted with a barn wedding at Brickhouse Vineyard by browsing through our gallery or having a nosey at our virtual tour. We offer exclusive venue hire for barn weddings on Saturdays. If you want to see more, we welcome you to book a private viewing with a member of our team! You can also drop us a note if you’d like to discover our availability or book your wedding date.
You will need to reserve a date before you contact the Devon Registrars to book them to conduct your wedding ceremony. You can call them directly on 01392 385070 or email register@devon.gov.uk. A £50 deposit fee is required upon booking.
Once you have booked your ceremony with the Registrar, we’ll request a deposit payment to secure your booking at Brickhouse Vineyard. We’ll chat with you to discuss your visions and ideas for your micro wedding, as well as offering you recommendations for local suppliers who will work together to ensure you have a faultless barn wedding.
In the weeks running up to your barn wedding, our wedding coordinators will finalise your timeline and confirm those all-important details. A final planning meeting is hosted 3 months before each wedding, where we’ll tie up any loose ends and make sure you’re wedding day ready! Then, it’s time to tie the knot! ‘Happily ever after’ has never been easier and we can’t wait to be a chapter in your story.
