Small Wedding Venue

Small wedding venues should never mean small ideas or compromise. With that in mind we’ve put together a small wedding option that works flexibly around your wedding-day dreams and ideas.

Small wedding venue hire provides full day exclusive use of the 18 Century Round House with the terrace overlooking the vineyard and the Barn, which is the perfect small wedding venue for 30 to 60 day guests and up to 100 in the evening.

Your legal wedding ceremony will take place in the Round House, with you making your entrance via the natural bridal walk through the wildflower meadow.

You’ll toast your marriage with Champagne and enjoy canapés, whilst your photographer captures the magic of your day against the beautiful backdrop of the vineyard. After the photo session in the vineyard, our team will usher your wedding party to the Barn for a relaxed dining and speeches.

The evening entertainment will take place in the Barn which will be discreetly reconfigured after the meal whilst the coffee is served in the Round House.

A day to remember forever

After breakfast and a morning of getting ready, you’ll take the short drive to Brickhouse Vineyard for your wedding ceremony and celebrations.

Your guests and the groom usually arrive first, although not always! We’ll look after your guests, gathering them together in the Round House ready for your arrival. We will greet you on arrival and take you to the Registrar for a pre-ceremony check through your details. At the allotted time your wedding ceremony will take place.

You’ll enjoy Champagne and canapés on the terrace or in the Round House whilst your photographer continues to capture the day is the exquisite location. After this you’ll enjoy a relaxed meal in the Barn and maybe a glass or two of Brickhouse Vineyard wine.

Cutting the cake, speeches and dancing will see you through to the 11.30pm curfew and carriages ending a beautiful day to treasure forever.

Why choose a small wedding?

An increasing number of couples are choosing a small wedding over a larger wedding. The discipline that this size of wedding brings to your guest list requires some soul-searching, yet it will mean that you’re surrounded by those you really want to share your wedding day with rather than those you feel, you should share your day with.

It’s easier to plan and manage your wedding budget, as you have fewer guests to consider. This means that you can potentially spend more on your guests and enjoy a more decadent wedding day than you might otherwise have done. The focus shifts to quality not quantity.

Most importantly a small wedding of 30 to 60 people is far more intimate and personal than a larger affair. You’ll have time to talk to each and everyone of your guests properly. You can make the day really personal including your décor, favours and flow of the day as you’ll be surrounded by your true inner circle creating a loving and fun-filled environment, in which to relax and enjoy your wedding.

Whatever your reason for choosing a small wedding we’ll be happy to help you every step of the way in creating your own, unique small wedding day at Brickhouse Vineyard.
